hello again!

Hello again everybody! It was good to talk to you all earlier. After talking to you earlier, i don't know what to tell you now haha. A little more about my companion. His name is Elder Martos, he is from Rizal (close to Manila), and has only been in the mission for 4 1/2 months. I don't have any pictures of us yet, but i will send some next week. He is pretty alright. He did track too, sprints. So we have that to talk about sometimes. I really don't know what else to tell you about him.

Things are still really good in this area. After the call, the family fed us lunch, then we're going to go back later and have Family Home Evening there. They are really cool. This last week was good because 2 of our investigators came to church! We've been working on them for a bit, but they haven't wanted to come to church. But they finally did it yesterday. This last week was a week with ups and downs, just like every week. We have some new investigators that really have some potential to progress. So that is of course exciting. We also have a baptism coming up in about a month. It is Brother Allan, the husband of the sister that just had her baby, who is also the sister of the people whose house i called from earlier. Things are looking really good with him.

Well, besides those things it was a pretty normal, boring week. Not really a lot happened. The members are all really busy getting ready for the Jubilee this week. It is a big celebration for 50 years that the church has been in the Philippines. This week there is this big celebration where the members dance and stuff like that. We get to go watch it, so it will be pretty fun. We're pretty excited for it.

I'm still not sure of anything that i need. There are those books that i told you about awhile back, the "Inspirational Stories for Missionaries" and also "Inspirational Quotes for Missionaries." If you could possibly find those and send those to me. Some jerky and propel powder mix too. But i'll see what else i need and tell you next week. This would be a good time to send a package, because this next month we have trainings every week and will see the mission president and them every week. So when it gets here i'll get it pretty quick. But i'll tell you next week of anything else.

Well, hanggang dito na lang. I'm probably boring you all, so i'll stop here hehe. I know this church is true! i know the Book of Mormon is true. Keep reading it, even just a chapter a day. It makes all the difference. I know we have a living prophet in our days, and i am so thankful that we do. I love you all so much, and God be with you till we meet again.

Elder Brough
