The Pueca Family

Hello fam and friends! Good to hear things are still going good for you all there. Time is still just going by so fast. Right now we are in the last week of the transfer. Next Tuesday is transfer day. Next monday when i email you i will know what will happen with us for transfers. I really don't know what to think about what will happen to us here, if i will transfer or my companion. I'm sure one of us will, but i really feel like i might stay here. But we will all know next monday.

This last week lots of good things happened, especially yesterday. Lots of investigators really progressed. Yesterday we had 7 investigators at church. We were really excited about that. We've been working a long time to get that to happen, and it finally did. But as always, it could have been higher. Its like this area is starting to sprout after lots of planting, and now its getting ready for the harvest. One exciting thing was that one of our former investigators came to church yesterday, and apparently during class he was asking what he needs to do to be baptized! We also have one other new investigator that really wants to be baptized. It is the cousin of a member. The Castro Couple is progressing. They came to church again yesterday, and now their son is starting a new job, so the money to go to church won't be a problem anymore. We also have a family we are teaching. We first met them at one of our investigators. THey joined the lesson. As we taught, Brother was interested, but Sister was like, no, i have a religion. BUt at the end of the lesson they agreed to let us go to their house and teach them. And this last week when we went back, Sister was really receptive. She said how she has never listened to anybody from other religions, and she doesn't know why she wants to listen to us so bad. But we know ;). Because its true and the Lord has prepared her to listen. It was just a good week of good things happening with investigators. Thank you for all your prayers for them. Please keep praying for them as they will still face challenges as they take this journey to accept the true church of God.

WE are also excited because we have a baptism on Saturday! Sister Jackie Domingo is getting baptized. Her progression has been huge, and it is great to be able to see it from the very first lesson till now.

Well, things are great for us here. Still chugging away and working in the vineyard of the Lord. Hopefully things keep going great for all you there. I love you all tons, and God be with you till we meet again.

Elder Brough
