Flight Plans Finally

Cody is so excited to get on with the work in the Philippines. Here are his flight plans as he told us....
"We fly out of Salt Lake at 7:47 PM on the 25th, arrive in San Francisco, CA at 9 PM, leave at 12:05 AM (26th) to fly to Taipe, Taiwan, get there about 6:20 AM on the 27th, fly to Manila at about 9:30. Its exciting stuff! Its crazy because we skip the 26th with the time changes. In my travel group its me, my companion, and the one sister going to Olongapo in our district. And since my name is first in the alphabet i am the travel leader and make sure we all make our flights and nobody does anything they shouldn't."

Some random parts of his email were:
"I do miss you all, but really not that bad. No offense, i love you all, but i haven't been homesick or anything. Its funny because the other day i realized something i miss that i hadn't thought i would; horses. Haha I know you'll give me crap for that, but i do miss the horses some. About as much as i miss you."(I wonder how we are suppose to take this! HaHaHa)

"Elder L. Tom Perry came and talked to us again this week. It was awesome. He talked to us for Christmas too. We have now had members of the 12 talk to us 5 times while we've been here! We were deffinetly luck to be here when we were. Its funny because nobody knows what to do wth us because they've never had a Tagalog district stay an extra week. So they've been looking for things for us to learn and do.

Its crazy to think we've been here 2 months exactly today! The time is going by so fast! Its also crazy how much i have learned of the language in those 2 months. I'm not always very confident on my ability in it, but we have had so many teachers and stuff here compliment us on how good our Tagalog is. Bro Chou told us we know more than he did when he went into the field, and he said he's taught us things he's never taught districts before. So i hope i am only halfway lost when i get there. They say you are completey dependent on your companion the first while."
