One year ago today on this thursday in August we got this letter in the mail.
Take about excitement, anticipation and nerves! We originally were going to wait until friday night to open it because Lacie and Jake were coming for the weekend. BUT the silly envelope got the better of all of us and Cody opened it and read it that night. Heidi & Dillon were here from Idaho and so we called Nicole and Bill in Alaska, and Lacie & Jake in Utah, and the rest of us were here already.
Dear Elder Brough:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Philippines Olongapo Mission.
..........You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Tagalog language.....
WOW, Can't believe it's been a year already!
